GYMELO is a marketplace where gym members can buy and sell unused memberships. Sellers list their membership, buyers purchase it, and the gym confirms the transfer. Funds are held in escrow until the transfer is complete.
Yes. All payments are processed via Razorpay and held in escrow. Money is only released to the seller after the gym confirms the membership transfer to the buyer.
Most transfers complete within 3–7 days. If not completed within 7 days, you get an automatic refund.
Yes. If the transfer is not completed within 7 days, you are automatically refunded. You can also raise a dispute within 48 hours of transfer confirmation.
Any gym can be listed on GYMELO — Cult.fit, Anytime Fitness, Gold's Gym, local gyms, and more.
Create a seller account, click "New Listing", fill in your membership details, upload photos, and submit. Our team reviews and approves within 24 hours.
GYMELO charges a 5% platform fee on the membership price. This covers payment processing, escrow protection, and support.
Yes! As a buyer you can make an offer below the asking price. The seller can accept, reject, or counter your offer.
You are fully protected. Your money stays in escrow until the gym confirms the name change. If the gym refuses or the transfer is not completed within 7 days, you receive a 100% automatic refund — no questions asked.
Transfer policies vary by gym. Many chains and local gyms allow name changes, sometimes with a small transfer fee. Each listing on GYMELO shows the gym and any applicable transfer fee, and the purchase only completes once the gym confirms the transfer.
